ChurchSentry LLC is a California-based consulting firm dedicated to helping churches develop effective volunteer-based safety ministries. We believe every church, regardless of size or budget, deserves a safe environment where congregations can worship without fear and communities can gather in peace.

Leadership & Experience

Ron Reynolds, CEO and Co-Founder, brings over a decade of hands-on experience in church safety. A California State University Los Angeles graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and training from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Academy, Ron has dedicated his career to protecting houses of worship.

Ron’s journey into church safety began in 2013 when he was recruited during a security incident at his children’s private Christian school and church. What started as an emergency response became a calling. He spent six years as a security guard for churches and schools, co-founded and operated a security guard company for three years, and in 2023, established a volunteer-based security ministry at First Baptist Church of Norwalk, where he currently serves as Safety Director.

Our Proof of Concept

The transformation at First Baptist Church of Norwalk stands as testament to our methodology. Under Ron’s leadership, the church evolved from a congregation plagued by illegal criminal activity to a safe, welcoming sanctuary for families and worshippers. This success story became the foundation for ChurchSentry’s mission—proving that volunteer-based safety ministries can be very effective solutions.

A Family Enterprise

Founded in 2025, ChurchSentry is a family business built on shared values and complementary expertise. Ron works alongside his two sons, Colton and Austin, bringing together experience, innovation, and dedication to serve the faith community.

Our Services

Since January 2024, we’ve been offering free Safety Conferences to churches affiliated with the Los Angeles Southern Baptist Association. Our comprehensive training covers:

• Proper use of personal protective equipment
• Handling service disruptions
• Lockdown procedures
• Medical emergency response
• Child safety protocols
• Fentanyl awareness
• Live role-playing scenarios

Churches that engage our consulting services receive customized, on-site training tailored to their specific facilities and congregational needs, plus complimentary access to our bi-annual Safety Conferences.

We’re also developing comprehensive policy frameworks, report writing systems, and incident documentation tools to provide churches with the infrastructure needed for long-term safety ministry success.

Ron’s work is driven by deeply held convictions rooted in Christian faith and the foundational American principle “that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

For us, church safety work isn’t just about preventing threats—it’s about protecting the fundamental right of people to worship freely and safely.

The entire Reynolds family are active members of First Baptist Church of Norwalk under Pastor Miguel Martinez’s leadership, exemplifying the volunteer-based ministry model we help other congregations build.

Serving the Faith Community

Through ChurchSentry, we continue our mission to address a critical gap: most small churches lack the budget to hire professional security guards. Our solution bridges that gap, ensuring that every church can provide a safe environment for worship and community gathering.
